Egyptian WHQ Dungeon
Hi all,
Over the last month or so I have been working on a 3D Dungeon for WHQ. Currently I only have about 6 pieces made but I am slowly getting there.
This will be a labor of love plus I have been purchasing a few Crocodile Games miniatures that will add flavour to the game.
I really do not want to re-issue all my posts and images to another site so the link to my blog is as follows. It is based at Warseer so yo may need to be a member to view it.

Re: Egyptian WHQ Dungeon
Real nice job! I think some blue, green, and yellow colors on the hieroglyphics and objects will contrast very nicely! Also some solid hieroglyphic "borders" colors might do the job as well.

Re: Egyptian WHQ Dungeon
Yes - very good point Littlemonk. Even I have come to the conclusion that the monotone look to it does not add a lot of value to the work.
I am currently working on a room that will have more colour added to it. Once I have worked out what works (and what doesn't) I am sure to be going back to my earlier constructs and improve them.
Luckily my 6 year old son is big into Egyptian things so we have already gathered a few illustrated ancient Egypt books for myself to get some ideas from.
As I have created half tiles against the walls these parts will be used for eye candy such as broken shields, rusty weapons, masonry and skeletons etc as well.
Thanks for the comments!

Re: Egyptian WHQ Dungeon
Very impressive. I like the additional thought you've put into it. The rooms and corridors look like they could've been used in real life.
Would be good to see an entire wall covered with a big egyptian motif on a wall. Like below
Egyptian motif
Or something like in the "Mummy" with the beetles over the wall.

Re: Egyptian WHQ Dungeon
The Egyptian civilization left so many amazing decorations in their passageways and tombs, as did many others (Maya, Aztec, Chinese, etc.)
It's both a blessing and a curse to have to live up to those standards! Good luck, Eboli! It looks great so far and we can't wait to see the final touches!
