Good day,
Do you have the house rules for the settlement board?
Or do you have the consolidated rules for the settlement board in one package?
Thanks!
Hello Emrick,
It is always great to have someone new sign up.
There will never be enough WHQ players, at least in my book.
I think you must have misunderstood something someone said here.
The Settlement matt only assists you in keeping track of what you do at a settlement.
There are no new rules, house rules or some consolidation packet other than the inn and the thieves guild as LittleMonk mentioned(goto Warhammer Quest Customized-see left column for link).
You still use the rules from the RolePlay book, the character booklets, Citadel Journal articles, Deathblow articles and so forth.
Sorry Emrich if this is a problem.
Thanks!
With all due respect, you guys made a consolidated board but still use a ton of book references left and right, that must be awkward.
Nobody thought of making a compiled package for all locations?
The settlement boards are awesome but eventually I will have to make a compiled handout if none exists for ease of playing...
Welcome to the board Emrick09!
In response to your post, I think the assumption was that anyone wishing to use the Warhammer Quest Settlement Boards would already have the source materials and be already referring to them while using any of the added characters and extra rules.
I do, however, like your idea for a compilation for all the locations' rules. It would likely end up being a fair-sized booklet though, with quite a number of pages (maybe at least 30 to 40 pages -- just sort of guessing here) of special rules for the characters' Special Locations.
Easy, go to town, get the binder out. I'm still going through the rules and learning. It may be while before I compile everything.
Okay.
Emrick, WE did not make the Settlement game aid mats.
A member and someone who is also one of the moderators of this forum, LittleMonk, made them with a guy named Alberto Rupe from what I know.
Additionally, as far as I know, Alberto is NOT a member of this forum.
Moreover, the mats are actually printed and marketed by a guy in Valencia, Spain, through eBay using the handle "sanabeso" & via his own WEB page and not through this forum.
Furthermore, sanabeso is not a member of this forum as far as I know.
So Emrick:
this forum does not market the mats;
does not say they are a required/essential/demanded part of the WHQ experience;
does not get any financial benefit from the sale of the mats;
and there had been nothing said about the mats at all until I picked them up from the guy in Spain via eBay and then posted I had them and what I thought of them and any questions I had about them.
[EDIT]... .
[NEW TACT]
I edited out a good bit of my original reply so as to lighten the mood a bit.
Emrick, hopefully I have better explained the connection of the mats to this forum for you.
Enjoy WHQ - all the rest of us here do.

Re: Warhammer Quest Settlement Boards
It was on'y a matter of speaking... No harm intended.
My point was cool gaming aid but no written package to back it up.
It was just weird to me...

Re: Warhammer Quest Settlement Boards
Actually, there was an explanation in the eBay description:
Each custom, beautifully designed, tabletop board features every Location or Trader that can be found in that particular Settlement. Warrior Special Action boards keep track of actions that the Warrior does that takes at least one day to complete!
Players who are familiar with the Advanced game of WHQ would understand how the boards would be used.
They are not required to play WHQ, but some fans may like the visual representation that they can bring to their visits to villages, towns, and cities.
