Re: The quest of Quest

Thank you very much. I am lucky that I like painting (at least all the variety this mission gives me!) and get some good time to do it since I work shifts and most of my time off is when everyone is working (not so good for a social life though!)

Have some more done, level two and three all painted now. I'm attacking it in a slightly different way now as I have an honest to goodness campaign going so am painting as I need rather than just working through the list. Will get some photos next time I get it all out for an organise. It's a serious storage issue right now ha ha.

Thanks for sharing! Great stuff you've created. I especially like new and creative dungeon entrances. Cheers for the ideas!

BTW, the curvature you're getting with the foam boards is easily fixed with a bit of slightly watered-down PVA glue painted on the backs of the board sections. As they dry the PVA contracts and will flatten them out.

Re: The quest of Quest

If you're still looking for great miniatures for Warhammer Quest (and who isn't?), there's a good kickstarter going on right now for some lovely miniatures, sculpted by hand.

It's called Twisting Catacombs, Lichmyre Dungeons and is by Zealot Miniatures.

Hope you join! We have only a week left to go.

Re: The quest of Quest

The Quest Of Quest has grown legs a bit! I strayed from
the monster lists as I found that I generally GMed games and each dungeon was themed around specific races, and as I was taking the minis to play at a club at the time it was impossible to transport everything. So I decided instead to collect the expanded bestiaries instead... that’s right, I ended up going beyond the monster lists! I have purchased minis for every entry now apart from chaos dwarf artillery which is very hard to find indeed. I just have to get it all painted now.

Tragically I believe the site I hosted these images on is closing down so this blog will soon be pic less, a shame!
