Berserk and Time Freeze
How about this one?
The Barbarian fails to go Berserk
in the Warriors' Phase.
Does the Barbarian roll to go Berserk
in the Warriors' Phase granted by
the Time Freeze spell or ring?
What say you?!

Re: Berserk and Time Freeze
Sure, I will give a stab at it. Let's try to define a few things:
TIME FREEZE RING (Treasure card)
This Time Freeze Ring may be used at any time, giving the Warriors an additional Warrior's Phase straight away.
BARBARIAN BERSERK (Character card)
Each turn, before he fights, there is a chance the Barbarian may go berserk...
TURN (Roleplay Book, p12)
The turn sequence is summarised below...
1 POWER PHASE
2·WARRIORS' PHASE
3·MONSTERS' PHASE
4 EXPLORATION PHASE
So, I would say that since the ring grants an additional Warrior Phase and does not start a new Turn, the Barbarian would not roll a new berserk roll. IMHO, YMMV, Hakuna Matata, yadda yadda yadda...

Re: Berserk and Time Freeze
I agree with RedDogMT
if you wanted to be tactical you could always not roll for berserk in the first warriors phase in the hope of killing monsters.
then in the second WP have a better chance of going berserk.
--- most of my posts may run into essay length. I find that for a lot of queries/feedback context is important and that is why this happens more often than not.
have a great day :D

Agree with RedDogMT.
But i disagree with Edquest. You don't get to choose if the Barbarian rolls for Berserk.

Re: Berserk and Time Freeze
I think I must agree that "each turn before he fights" would indicate that the roll for Berserk should only happen once in the turn, but also that it happens BEFORE the Barbarian does any fighting in the turn.
The Time Freeze ring does NOT start another turn, just another Warrior Phase.
