posticon Banshee Wail Table

Hi all,
I wondered (being mystified as ever) what happens when a Necromancer summons a Banshee, that is, how to handle the 'Wail Table'.
Does the summoned Banshee start wailing when its turn starts (right after the Necromancer)or at the beginning of the Monster's phase?
Also, can you exchange any mention of 'Warrior' for '(not undead) monster'?
In the Necromancer-Lord summonings is mentioned that Warriors are immune to wail, should this have been mentioned in the summoning of the lower ranked Necromancer as well? (If not his fellow warriors won't be to happy with him summoning a Banshee emoticon)
The same thing can be asked for a summoned Vampire's abilities.
Any thoughts are most welcome.

Re: Banshee Wail Table

I've changed the wailing table for a summoned Banshee. Basically I changed the word 'monsters' for 'warriors' and vice versa. Also I changed the order as to the effect that 6 is the best result you can get and 1 the worst.

Your comments and ideas are most welcome.

SUMMONED BANSHEE-WAILING TABLE

1 The wailing disrupts the winds of magic.
No spellcasting is possible for the rest of the turn.

2 The piercing shriek penetrates a random (non undead) Monster's bones.
It suffers a Chill 1 Attack immediately.

3 The wailing strikes fear into all the non undead Monsters.
Each Monster must immediately take a Fear 8 test. If it fails it will be at -1 To Hit the Banshee. If they are already scared of the Banshee, then they will have a -2 modifier To Hit.

4 The piercing shriek penetrates the non undead Monsters' bones.
All non undead Monsters on the board suffer a Chill 1 Attack immediately.

5 The Banshees wail strikes terror into all the non undead Monsters.
For the rest of the turn each non undead model on the board loses one attack per dungeon level. In addition, any Warriors spell effects that they might be affected by are doubled. (Either in duration or damage)

6 The Banshees terrifying wail causes living creatures to age and crumble to dust.
Choose a random non undead Monster on the board section the Banshee is currently on. The Monster instantly crumbles to dust.

Re: Banshee Wail Table

And the same for the summoned Vampire. Any comments on this table are most welcome.

SUMMONED VAMPIRE ABLILITIES TABLE

1 Transfix.
The Vampire transfixes at random one (non undead) Monster with his steely glare. Roll 1D6 and add that Monster's Initiative. If the score is 11 or less it is transfixed for 1 turn. While transfixed the Monster may do absolutely nothing and any Warrior in combat with him automatically hits.

2 Regenerate.
The Vampire regains 3D6 Wounds at the end of this turn, even if this takes him above his Starting Wounds score.
The Vampire cannot regenerate if it is killed.

3 Bite.
The Vampire bites all adjacent (non undead) Monsters. Each suffers (the Dungeon level) Wounds, with no deductions for Toughness or armour. The Vampire then gains the total number of Wounds caused, adding them to his own Wounds, even if this takes him above his Starting Wounds score.

4 Ethereal.
The Vampire become Ethereal 2 until the start of the next Monsters' Phase. For the duration of this state he has a Chill 3 attack rather than his normal hand-to-hand attacks.

5 Cloak of Darkness.
The Vampire gathers a mantle of blackness around him. Until the start of the next Monsters' Phase all attacks against him are made at -1 to hit. In addition, all Monsters on the same board section as the Vampire lose 1 Attack in the next Monsters' Phase.

6 Turns to Smoke.
At the end of the Warriors' Phase the Vampire vanishes in a pall of smoke. Remove the model from the board. At the start of the next Warriors' Phase place the Vampire back on the board next to a Monster at random. In addition, if the Vampire left the board on less than full Wounds he returns fully healed and back up to his Starting Wounds score.
