posticon Evil Quest Files

There used to be a site online called Evil Quest that hosted rules for playing as the bad guys and fighting in Good Dungeons. While I believe I have the warriors (Squig Hopper, Fantatic, Wolf Rider, something else, something else, etc. I'll go looking), I am missing every other file. If anyone has them, send them to Bruno. If they should go anywhere, they should probably go there.

Re: evil quests

That sounds like an interesting variation: evil parties going against either monsters, imperial forces, dwarf holds, or elf fortresses. The quests would be wicked too.

I know of two "official" characters: the Ogre and the Chaos Warrior. I could imagine parties also made up of a Necromancer, Chaos Sorcerer, Dark Elf, or Chaos Dwarf. These Warriors could bring along minions, guards or familiars.

My understanding is that Advanced HeroQuest has minions instead of monsters. Any comments? Has anyone played this kind of campaign?

I've never played an Evil Quest campaign but I do sometimes combine Warhammer Quest with an old out-of-print game called Mighty Empires. here's what you do with a whole bunch of players...

1. Generate a random dungeon (laid out for all to see)
2. Intersperse Heroes (and henchmen) randomly throughout
3. Draw Monster cards for each board section(even ones with Heroes already there) the game starts mid-battle!
4. Divide players up, some playing Heroes and some playing Monsters... from then on, play using Warhammer Quest rules, generating reinforcements, traps that either side can trigger , etc.

It's not an adventure but it IS great fun with the right people and if they get to use their real characters the tension is higher...

Sorry about the Thread-omancy, but I happen to be the Mark Gunton who created the Gobbo rider characters. Officially and for the record, I am happy to see my hard work back on the web.

One day, I'll get round to finishing the other Gobbos I had planned...... XD

Hello Mark

Welcome back on the world of the Warhammer Quest.
I've hosted in the museum few of your rules, the ones I've found on google cache, people send me...
I'll be happy to host the new ones.

If you have a copy of all rules I'll be interested.

Does anybody have a cache or link to the old Dungeon ConQuest site?

It was rules based on WHQ for a (possibly multiplayer) campaign approach towards trying to conquer a dungeon with the WHFB race of your choice.

I think I have the name right...
