Re: Monster Generator
Perhaps theses programs may help you

If you want to create a monster we need to understand how gold value is calculated
See this topic about gold formula
But you must adapt it to Warhammer Quest.
If you understand the formula of the gold value, I can made a generator online to create new monsters. I am currently working on a monster database for the museum website
If you want to have table monsters, the best bet is to visit the Warhammer Quest : chronicle
Hope it'll help

Re: Monster Generator
Thanx,
The first link is what I was looking for. I'm in the same situation as the guy, where it takes too much time ot generate a monster from the table, flip over to the spells, to the magic item, etc. specially when it's after midnight, and we need to finish that damn dungeon, the only thing it does not contains all the level.
Right now I'm writing a java prog. to generate the monster, but it's taking more time than I have planned for. Because I don't want to have only a description I want to generate my monster with the appropriate armor and weapon, so the DM will only read the final stat of the monster.
As for a monster database I have found one on the web made in access, I can't recall the link, but I have it.

Re: Monster Generator
That's neat, really really neat for the monster generator, but I'm having probleme with the tablemaker, anyway it's no biggie I'll fool on it later.
Btw a big thanx for having all the rules online, it helps allot. Keep the good work.

Re: Monster Generator
Maybe this program by Paul Taylor might help.
http://www.freewebs.com/cheesemeistersolutions/
From his website:
Battle Tracker is a monster management program for Warhammer Quest. It can automate many things during combat, and makes managing large scale combats much easier. No more mini dice needed! No more flipping though the RolePlay book to find tables for monsters! No more wondering which monster is on which wounds! No more Pog picking for random warriors (although, interestingly, even on a computer the Wizard seems to be picked more that most!). No more arguements over which warrior killed how many creatures, and how much gold s/he gets
Edit: Oh, it seems Bruno already has this linked from his page. The readme file is http://www.freewebs.com/cheesemeistersolutions/ReadMe.txt

Re: Monster Generator
Good morning everyone.
BattleTracker is now in version 4.5.1, the updates are mainly due to Bruno's input, and were literaly added as i read his e-mail. As u can see, i am rather 'user orientated' as they say.
About TableMaker.... that little proggie is a very simple little thing that i basicly wrote for my own benefit, to make it easier for me to type in the monster tables. I will most likely not be updating it, but i will answer some questions on it i guess.
Hope you all like the program, updates as usual can be found at http://www.freewebs.com/cheesemeistersolutions
oh, and i would appreciate if people would not post direct links to perticular sections, and certainly not direct file links (i will let u off the ReadMe, i can understand that), this is primarly as i am only starting out, and need publicity. I am sure you understand.
I look forward to your input and suggestions. and i dont look forward to the bug reports, i HATE bug tracking! its a pain!! but, i hate bugs more, so i guess i will have to live with it!
Regard
Paul Taylor
