Cardboard dungeons!

http://www.stones-edges.com/

Wow! These products look really detailed and very well done, considering they are printed out on card and glued together. It's US$10 for 40 pages of pdf dungeons that you can print out as many times as you like.

(According to the site, the pictures below are 3d renders of the built product and not the actual product, for some reason!! Maybe it doesn't look that good when it's made up!)

Wow, looks great. How do you think that would work with WQ's printed tiles?

Well, you'd make up a dungeon based on the cardboard models, not using the printed tiles at all. You can make all sorts of shapes and sizes.

Ooh, great pictures! It would be good to play an entire game of WQ with those world works boards. If you have a game with them, please post all pictures here!

Re: Cardboard dungeons!

I am working on it, and my dungeon is from Stones Edges
I am currently working on my second dungeon room, and then I will probably make a third and after that I will make some corridors. Then I can post some pictures of a more complete dungeon...

Cardboard dungeons!

I can't believe you all are so positive about a cardboard dungeon? To me it looks terribly cheap.
I would rather play with the original game.
Why would you want to block the view of the players with walls that look like that?

For all the people that really like it:
Have fun with it.

Your opinion is noticed and you are free to go ahead with the game as it is. But some of us feel like building a dungeon out of cardboard (or by any other means like Hirsts Arts) will take the game to another level. Besides, I don't think that the walls will block the sight for the players, and if it would do that, all you need to do is to stretch your neck a little.

Ha ha ha!!! Now, that was fun!
I'm sorry, but I'm with AncientNomad on this one! Besides, considering that you need a bit of light to take pictures, I think the walls look really cool! I'll probably spill the $10 as well!
Richard Wright did an awesome job on the original tiles, no doubt. But after playing Warhammer Quest for years, most of us really need to change things up a little. By adding walls, you've just added a third dimension to the dungeon. Hiding models from players? Nah. But a hidden alcove? Certainly!
Just my two cents
