Cardboard dungeons!
Sorry Ancient Nomad and Dartagnon but the emphasis was on the paper walls and not on the hiding .
Of course we want to put in that 'little' extra after a few years of playing. In our group we have two GM's. When at my place we play Warhammer Quest. At the other guy we play Advanced Heroquest.
I 'block' my players' view with the Master Maze from Dwarvenforge. But after more than ten years of play it isn't just dungeoncrawling anymore. Not too long ago I got hold of the old Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay stuff and I am mixing that into my own storylines too. And after playing for so long you find out what works and what doesn't. For example, my monsters roll d100 to see where they hit the heroes, and rolling a 1 in the power phase doesn't always mean an unexpected event but when the players start stocking up power in brooches and staff I will draw one of my dreaded Unexpected Event Cards :bad: .
You just have to do what works best for you. And if that means using paper walls that's fine with me. But since I have an Imperial Noble in my group I know I wouldn't have to try putting these things in: after all they don't sell them at Luigi& Salvatore's

Re: Cardboard dungeons!
I love the world works stuff they rock for the game. Funny thing for me is I havent used the original plans ever I started off with using the world works products. It's great being able to use all of their line interchangeably.

Re: Cardboard dungeons!
NYJETS147, okey I see.
I would like to someday build my own dungeons, from scratch, but until then I will settle with cardboard, it is the cheapest way for me right now since I am a student with not that much money...
NYJETS147 & Yastamon, you don't happen to have some pictures of your dungeons, do you?

Cardboard dungeons!
I haven't got pictures of my own dungeons, but here is a picture from the www.dwarvenforge.com gallery that looks like the dungeons I build with this system.
Just make sure you graduate and get a nice job and you'll be able to buy better looking things

Ah, yes, I've seen that picture before. It looks so good!
I really like the things that Dwarven Forge makes.
