posticon Some Beginner questions

Hello folks,

I have recebtly started WQ as a game master and have some Questions about how other people handle a few things in game.

First of all is that damned dwarfen Great Axe one or two handed? (and what about all those treasure and objective treasure weapons?)

Second, how do you handle flashpowder in a multifloorplan battle. Dose it affect the whole battle or only the floorplan the user stands in?

Third, do you allow the wizzard to cast his attackspells anywhere in the dungeon or does he need LOS too?

Thanks for answering!

Welcome!
Great Axe- I assume it to be 2-handed, being Great and all, but the actual model is holding it quite happily in one hand, so I would argue for single-handed. As for treasure weapons, generally they are 1 handed, except where it mentions it in the description.
Flashpowder- I would say all of the dungeon, as presumerably it blinds monsters looking at the warriors, no matter how far away they are. Unless they have Magic Item; Sunglasses.

As for the wizard, it depends on the spell, but most of them are for monsters he can currently see...

If a spell description says "On the Board" then supposedly the spell can be targeted ANYwhere in the dungeon, but common sense and the "lost in the dark" rules usually keep this from being abused
