Kislevite Shaman - Offensive or not?

Hi,

I'm making spellcards for the Kislevite Shaman and although some spells are marked (O) for offensive and others are pretty straightforward as to determining in what category (Attack-Defence-Healing-Special) they belong I have some doubts and would very much like you to comment on these spells; (my suggestion)

4-mana:
Burning Hand (A)?
Blade of Wind (A)?
Inner Fire (A)?

6-mana:
Rage of the Damned (A)?
Transformation (A)?

9-mana:
Earth Demon (S)?
Ice Demon (A)?

11-mana
Speed of Hiskai (A)?

Thanks for your comments!

We don't have a blessing category so for my part, all of them are in special's category.
You can made a new category blessing (but earth Demon will be special)

By the way our wizard has a blessing, it's Chorus of Valour (casting 8). It's a special too.

Hope it'll help

4-mana:
Burning Hand (A)? >>> Special
Blade of Wind (A)? >>> Special
Inner Fire (A)? >>> Special

6-mana:
Rage of the Damned (A)? >>> Special
Transformation (A)? >>> Special

9-mana:
Earth Demon (S)? >>> Special
Ice Demon (A)? >>> Special

11-mana
Speed of Hiskai (A)? >>> Special

Thanks for the reply Bruno.
My concern is that you can cast a 'special' blessing at anytime while 'attack' blessings can only be cast during the Warrior's phase. Therefore wouldn't these blessings become too powerfull if you allow them to be cast any time you like?

I think you can really catagorise the KS's magic as spells rather than blessings. Although he is a priest-like figure, the magic he uses is like conventional colour magic, so I would agree with misty mike's ideas.

Kislevite Shaman - Amber Magic

I agree with the custodian.
If my memory serves me well, the KS uses Amber magic.

Re: Kislevite Shaman - Offensive or not?

I have been wondering for some time about the way the KS gets power. According to the document, he uses a form of Light Magic (though I would assume that it was non-colour specific, there would be some Amber and Jade streams). Light Magic is 'heavy' and requires complex rituals, and especially the pyramid formation, to trap and use. Therefore, Wizards of the Light College tend to work with small groups of Acolytes who enact rituals to draw down sufficient quantities of power.
The KS gets power based on the number of warriors close to him. I have assumed that this is to do with the tribal nature of the Shaman's magic. The larger the tribe, the more they are 'blessed by the Khai'- the more power the chap can use. This is in turn presumerably a similar process to Light College Acolytes. The more there, the more they can capture, the more power for the Wizard.
However, given that Warriors tend to stay together, the Shaman is pretty much guarenteed 6 power per turn at the first level.
Is there a way we can tie him more into the Power Phase?
