Dwarfs Amok

Hello
Just thought I'd let you know that I have just GM'd an all-Dwarf Party through to Dungeons. A Runesmith, Goldhunter and two ordinary dwarfs (Clan Warriors?)
Both dungeons were done without a casualty, though our Runesmith was killed in a duel, and the party recieved his identical twin as a replacement...
Highlight was getting a cave-in, then an ambush of Dark Elves. As pinning didn't apply, the dwarfs got out of the room and blocked the door as the ceiling came down on the elves... emoticon

Yay for dwarves! I just got mine up to level 9 two days ago. I've only ever tried the standard dwarf character (which I think is great) and the Forest Dwarf unofficial Character (which needs some work still).

Are the Runesmith and the Goldhunter much fun?

Cheers,

Well yes, but then I would say that.

Runesmith- I think he's pretty essential for an all Dwarf Party. He might be too powered in terms of his runes... problem was that the person controlling him had another dwarf too, so his attention was split. Although the leader

Goldhunter- worked fine, though the guy in charge is an avid Dwarf player soley for the firebombs, and he went to town, blitzing the objective room so it was a walkthough. Quite fun watching him blow apart ranks of scaven and then felling the weakened rat ogre, but disheartening as a GM.

Still miffed that the Runesmith was killed in a stupid duel! We were in Barak-Varr at the time, so I can't even blame it on idiot humans.

Perhaps I'll have to try one of these for my next character. I was going to give the Trollslayer a go but he doesn't seem very popular. I tend to avoid elves completely so that's a lot of the characters out.

I'll have to have a look at them.

If you want a good trollslayer gave him a rune of healing. In fact he can't have armour and suffers a lor from that penalty.
