Well, THIS is a quite big amount, indeed! Interesting your idea to ask the trader, if he has more stuff after selling the "official amount" emoticon. 6 bombs for one adventure should be fine, I think emoticon.

Re: Dwarf Fire bomb

Some optional rules we have been play testing for firebombs require that the thrower target the + (intersection) between the 4 squares they intend to hit, the user must make a BS role, if that role fails the fire bomb scatters to another intersection using the same scatter template as Blood Bowl. The number of spaces the bomb scatters is the difference by which the thrower failed the roll by. If this new intersection would overlap or move completely off the board then only the spaces actually hit are effected. If a 1 is rolled the thrower must roll a second die, on a 2+ nothing happens, the thrower has fumbled the fire bomb before getting a chance to light it, this does not use up the fire bomb however the thrower may not recover it until the room is cleared of monsters. If a subsequent 1 is rolled then something horribly wrong has happened, the fire bomb has been fumbled to one of the intersections shared by the thrower determined randomly (use a D4 or a D6 disregarding 5 or 6). Since this action requires a BS roll it is considered a ranged attack and is subject to all the limitations (and possible bonuses for skill) as other ranged attacks.

As stated these are experimental rules but they have shown to ballance out the use of these slightly overpowering items. For their relatively cheap cost they definately need some drawbacks, besides, I would think twice before lighting a bomb in cramped underground dungeon, just doesn't sound safe. Alternatively we have played that the Gold Hunter receives a bonus on BS rolls with firebombs with a one still having the same effect.

Hello GreenKight,
interesting idea - heh heh i can just imagine something like "roll 2 1's" or "miss 2 bombs in the same board section" and a Cave in occurs in "1d6" turns emoticon

Yup Matja - quite a few bombs indeed emoticon
though one thing to remember is that luck isnt always as fair as the power of "probability"... eg, i have thrown several bombs in the same section only to end up doing about 5-6 wounds!! emoticon

Re: Dwarf Fire bomb

When i play my dwarf, I count slots in my backpack for the bombs. I take 1 slot for each bomb, this way, we can't carry 20 bombs.
