Warrior actions
I think there should be some sort of EXP for the Warrior A. The Barbarian could learn to pick a lock to, quite well, if he tries often enough. Should the Dwarf at level 1 get +2 immediately? (without GM modifiers)
What do u think.

Re: Warrior actions
How do you mean? Warriors get a chance at gaining 'specialist actions' as they go up battle-levels. Each time they advance they can try to get a +1 bonus for Characteristic tests. It's not linked to EXP, though.

Re: Warrior actions
Talking about Specialist actions (since Timberwulf hasn't posted about them yet in his update of the rules), I have stepped down of Initiave tests and have given each warrior the same Reflex save instead. The Reflex for a novice is 2, for a champion 3, a hero 4 and for a lord 5.
This is because there's a ridiculous difference between the Initiative of the warriors, and if you keep the standard score of 7, the Elf will always succeed on later levels, no matter what the modifiers are, unless he rolls a natural 1 (his Initiative at level 7 is 9, meaning even with his original -3 modifier for picking locks he still opens it with a simple 2 on his roll).
It seems to me that this actions table was written with the same starting Initiative for each warrior, so there shouldn't be much changes if you start using my Reflex save (ooh, MY reflex save, don't I feel important ).
Just a thought though, but it might help balance the game a bit more (and give the Dwarf a better chance and not let that pansy Elf get all the glory).
If anyone has any comments on this, please let them know since this hasn't been thoroughly playtested yet, but I still think it's better than the original Initaitive tests.
