Move

Dear All,

During a game of Webquest, a player give me a doubt about move
Perhaps I played wrong the rules since the beginning (that won't be the first timeemoticon).

Here is my trouble:
Here 's a square of a dungeon
12
34

1 and 4 are warriors of your party.
3 is you
2 is an empty square
Can you move to 2?

For me no.
For the Custodian Yes.
For Semmons99 no...
What is your opinion?

I am really interested because I've coded the move module and I want to be sure to respect the rules.

Thanks for your help

Here's the rules from the rulebook
quote:

You may move in any direction, including diagonally, and you can position the model to face any direction you like. However, your Warrior may not move through a
square that contains another model or obstacle.

The one with Wall
quote:

A Warrior may not move diagonally into a square if one of the adjacent
squares between him and his destination square is wall.

Re: Move

I allow my players to move diagonally in the situation you describe. In my opinion they're not moving through an occupied square.

If 1 & 4 are enemy models I also allow it if they succeed their 'escape from pinning roll' twice. (Once for each model, wheter they're both fighting the Warrior or not)
Again, there's no moving through an occupied square, so I don't see the rules prohibiting it.

I wonder...

Re: Move

I too would allow the diagonal movement. I do not think it breaches the rules but it also helps speed up the game slightly.
