This is a topic for any questions (even if they aren't frequent) that you might have about WebQuest. I'll also try and update this thread with any questions I get in emails, PMs or in the course of the game.
Thanks

PS I'm also going to make it Sticky, because, well, because I can!

Re: Frequently Asked Questions

On submitting orders:

When submitting orders be as brief or wordy as you like, but remember that you'll need to put in all the necessary information. For attacking, name the target at each stage (to hit, damage, etc) and mention which weapon you are using first. Also, if you are going to move, make sure that you submit the move order first, and a pinning roll before that, if necessary. So, the order might go-

Pinning Roll 1D6 (submit)

[If you pass] Move South, move Southwest Attack Giant Rat 26 Use Ensorcelled Blade (+1 to hit) To hit 1D6 (Submit)

[if you hit] Attack Giant Rat Damage Dice 1D6 (submit)

Use Bandages on (warriorname) (submit)

Remember the Cardinal Rule- only roll one dice for each submission. Thanks!

If you submit orders, then find out you've done them incorrectly (whisltes innocently!), is there any way to amend them before they take effect?

Well, if it's the same turn and your move hasn't been processed, simply submit a new move, stating that you've done so, and the GM will do it. You also ought to say why, especially if you have rolled dice in your last move.
If it's the same turn and your move has been processed, the GM might be able to change you around, depending on what other warriors have done.
If it's the next turn, or past the Warrior phase, it's unlikely that anything can be done.

In any case, it's at the GM's discretion, and he or she might force an initiative or other test.

Re: Frequently Asked Questions

Okay, i haven't played Warhammer Quest before (and it shows!), so am I correct in thinking the order for attacking is as in Warhammer:

compare Ws ratings to get to-hit roll needed;
roll 1d6 to hit;
if hit, compare strength of attack vs toughness to get to-wound value;
roll 1d6 to wound;
if a wound is scored, roll appropriate dice number, add strength and any other bonuses;
kill monster (hopefully!)

Correct?

Re: Frequently Asked Questions

To hit is right.
Then you roll a dice and add your strength and any weapon-related bonuses and subtract the toughness and armour values of the monster. The difference is the number of wounds you take from the monster.

There's a full rulebook .pdf at the Museum website under Official Stuffs

Is the WHQ Online web engine available under any sort of license? We would love to work on it and host it in house for our off-time games.
