Re: Play Warhammer Quest online
Wow, I don't know about you guys, but it's getting easier and easier to run this game! Thanks Bruno, especially for the visitor section. Now anyone can see what we're doing.
I've worked out money and treasure. Basically you recieve a bounty for each monster killed once reported to the local authority, equal to 10% of the experience. This isn't enough to break the bank, so you are also awarded 'Trade Goods'. A full explanation is at
http://www.fortunecity.com/underworld/roadrash/317/dungeon/wqmisc02.html
But basically they are items that you can sell at a settlement. If you don't like the price you're offered, you don't have to sell. Simple! Damniskobern counts as a settlement, so you can roll for the prices you get there. I've given them and the treasure to Bruno, as the leader, to do with as he will.
Please also visit the rules query thread. I need to know your opinions as far as the individual warrior rules go.
Thanks

Re: Play Warhammer Quest online
hi Bruno it's looking very nice indeed
in game 2, i just saw the witches descriptions, and where is says "curse", is that +1 or -1?
"Curse gives the target 1 on all WS and BS rolls until combat ends"

Re: Play Warhammer Quest online
Irritatingly I discussed various similar queries with Grogling before we started, but lost the email as stated in the other post.

I remember that it's -1 in that case.

Re: Play Warhammer Quest online
cool - im just viewing the History of yoru game - nice antics so far
Btw bruno i like the "party character EDIT" feature. its great that we can easily "add" a random skill and it gets chosen for that particular warrior type i believe.
is it easy to add a "back" button at all?
(i know we can click back on teh browser button, but i think that depends on which frame we last click on).
This way, if we want to choose a skill, but made a mistake and actually wanted a common item etc, we just click back?

Re: Play Warhammer Quest online
LOL - i just read the Halfling Thief -
this is cool descriptive text:
The Halfling's Lunch Box is full of spicy pies, sugared fruits and other goodies, which he casually munches through the adventure.
how cool is that - it makes we want to eat Pork Pies now

well, the beta test game - (test id 2) seems to be going well, with characters eating cookies and killing Gors etc
the test game seems to have frozen for a bit?

Re: Play Warhammer Quest online
The test game is here just to test features and to learn how interface is working.
For instance, in the next update, you can test the character creation
The game 2 is playing for real with 5 different people and when we meet a bug I debug it.

Re: Play Warhammer Quest online
ahh ok - "bug hunting" sounds good to me - almost as much fun as "Squig hunting"
btw were the 5 players chosen by you? no problem at all, its just that i thought i was already in the testers team, and would have liked to have helped. (i did go a way for a bit though, so might have missed the post etc) but no worries

Re: Play Warhammer Quest online
Yeah, the thread in question was started by me some time ago, when I was planning to run it just by email, but of course it coincided with the Online Game's development, so we thought it would be rewarding to run the two together.

Don't worry, I'm nearly ready to begin the second game!
