Webquest Down?

I tried to log on last night but kept getting an error message and this afternoon I'm getting nothing at all. Is it just me or is everyone having this problem at the moment?

Yeah, seems that the web server has gone down. Though hard to complain when it is free and all...

Actually, I think part of the explanation is the it IS FREE. emoticon

I am having the same troubles. Bruno, replied by email saying that it worked for him. I am guessing it was sometime around 8 or 9 p.m. Bruno's time in France, last night -- since the email had a time stamp of early morning, 2:25 a.m. my time in SW IN USA.

These comments implicate that if something is free it is normal that it souldn't work.

Although its the sad truth about internet these days, I myself do not agree. Free things (especially gamer things) sould remain widly available to everybody, free internet stuff should be a basic right.

Annyway, I'm not pointing fingers or complainning here, just making a point.

Maybe I'm just a bit grumpy for not being able to play webquest?

I'm not able to reach te pages since yesterday about 10 o' clock (gmt+1), let's hope the problem will be solved soon...

Quite right, it ought to be. I'm not sure how we can go about tackling this issue though.

I hope my philosophical and somewhat political statements do not offend anyone. I certainly do NOT intend to do so. Perhaps I have too much time on my hands without Webquest working right now.

Please read my comments with tolerance. emoticon In my country, many want us to tolerate everything ... EXCEPT people and views that radically differ with the tolerance people's agenda's and particular world views.

The problem with free things is that the recipients of the free things have to accept the quality that the giver is willing and/or able to bestow -- or, in many cases, just do without.

Someone has to pay the bills. If the government supplies things, that is usually funded by taxing some -- if not all -- of the people under that government. At least in my country, if the government is offering the "free" stuff, it usually has some kind of "strings attached" AND it is usually of lesser quality than can be obtained elsewhere.

Much of what is free on the Internet is paid for by advertisers. Advertising is NOT allowed in connection with WHQ.

An old saying is that "beggars can't be choosers". Though, I suppose, beggars CAN choose when there is more than one source of bread. Or, in this case, IF there is more than one supplier of the free Internet stuff.

I am NOT meaning to call all of the Webquest gamers, "beggars". Indeed, I am one of the biggest beggars of all, if that is the case. hehe emoticon

You can be as political as you like OldWarrior. I am just happy because I've got back on the site and caught up with all of my games emoticon

Oh yeah, for the record, I don't trust governments! The concept is good but they are made up of humans. Humans usually tend to be inherently corruptable and weak. I am sure we wouldn't have these problems if Slaanesh was in power emoticon

I can't leave you kids alone for a minute can I?

I ask a simple question and you all start moaning and whining. [Edits out 3 hour long lecture} ... Now you all better behave!
