Chaos Curses

One of the warriors in the Black Spiral Temple was as foolish as to try and steal a sword from a statue of Khorne. I came up with the following curse: Each turn she must roll a d6:

Mark of Khorne 1 (Game 52)
As long as this is in effect you have to roll a dice each turn: 1- Mad visions of blood: you warrior cannot act this turn as it is engulfed with visions of bloodshed.

Mark of Khorne 2 (Game 52)
2- Muscular spasms: move in a random direction whitout having to escape pinning (d8 where \'1\' is directly in front of you). You have -2 WS & BS but +2 to dodge

Mark of Khorne 3 (Game 52)
3- Regenerating Pulse: Your warrior regenerates 1d6 hits, up to his maximum, any exess healing turns into damage but toughness reduces this damage. Furthermore all adjecant creatures recieve 2 damage (friend and foe alike)

Mark of Khorne 4 (Game 52)
4- Fiery Bloodlust : a hatefull rage fills your warrior, you gain +1 WS, +3 Str, +1 T

Mark of Khorne 5 (Game 52)
5 -Bloodlust Rage, your warrior has double attacks but at -1 Ws and +2 Str.

Mark of Khorne 6 (Game 52)
6 - Firebreath: using BS to hit your warrior can engulf 1 enemy in flame for 3d6 damage with no deductions for armour & toughness.

I guess she's some kind of Chaos warrior now emoticon

I'll downgrade the curse to only roll when monsters are present later...

That is interesting, Cutlass. I actually like it! emoticon

I assume the curse would be able to be cured somehow, perhaps at a temple (a good one). Or, their might be some cure in a followup adventure (as an Objective or side objective).

Another warrior has recieved a curse, this time It's the blessing or Nurgle:

Curse of Nurgle: Each Turn Roll a D6

1. Burning Enfeeblement: your warrior feels so weak he can barely move let alone lift a weapon, you may do nothing this turn.

2. Shivering Fevor: You warrior is overcome by sweat and shivering you have -2 to WS -2 move but are also immune to fear & terror (you just don't care).

3. Cloud of flies: a horde of bugs eat through your flesh and attack all enemies around you transferring life energy as they return home, they do 3 damage to you, roll a d6, this is the number of damage to your foes (you may divide this damage as you wish) and the number of wounds you heal. If you roll a 6 the number is doubled (12) but the flies attack you fellow warriors as well causing 1 wound each. All damages are not deducted by armour or Toughness.

4. Cancerous Bloat: Your warrior grows biles and bloats in some places, muscles contract and grow, you gain +1 Toughness +1 WS and +1 attack. you regenerate 1 damage.

5. Magical affliction: roll a d6+ power phase, on a 6+ you've casted poxes on an enemy, it reduces T, Ws and S by -1 on a 8+ you've afflicted 2 enemies, on 10+ you've afflicted 3

6. Venomous Vomit: you vomit green pus! It eats away at your foes, for each enemy in contact roll a d6, on a 4+ you hit them and do damage with no deductions: one enemy: 3d6, two - three enemies: 2d6, more: 1d6

What a curse/uh blessing is this!

That should prove interesting.

I think that Cutlass has a little bit of OW tendencies in him. Hmmmm ... I wonder if that is a Chaotic trait? hehe

Mark Of Tzeench

Another Warrior has been cursed, this time with the Mark of Tzeench, Ofcourse the wizard is the unfortunate hero this time.

Each turn when monsters are present Roll a D6 and consult the appropriate number

1. Whispers of convultion

A thousand whispers fill your head, talking of backstabbing, skullduggery and scheming. You warrior can't do nothing this turn as he tries to hold on to sanity.

2. Unstable mutation

A random limb mutates, causing severe pain, your movement is halved, you have -2 to hit but recieve an extra attack.

3. Lifewarp

You may either transfer the power from the Winds of Magic to heal wounds or use your own wounds to cast any spell but healing.

4. Warptransferrence

Your body pulses with the power of the warp! For each power from the winds you give up you may hand out a +1 on any roll from yourself or your companions.

5. Power of Tzeentch

Add another d6 to your power for this turn.

6. Sorcerous bolt

A bolt of magical energy shoots from your forehead dealing 1d6 unmodified damage on a to hit roll of 4+, the bolt continues as long as you hit and as long as there are foes present.

I like it, Cutlass!

One point of clarification: I assume on the Lightning thing that it also ceases once it has hit all targets present, similar to the lighting bolt trap in the RPB (event #41).
