Re: Help finding/Making homemade rules?
I don't think Kodarr noticed my questions on this new custom character for WHQ. Therefore, I make this brief reply, hoping to draw him back.

Re: Grey Seer Battle-Level Table, Questions, Suggestions and Etc...
You are right I didn't see your question there.
yes i meant roll 1 less die in gaining spells.
you can host the character as well.
Warp power i mean it to be a last resort and it isn't supposed to work very often. I also meant to put that it is 2 powerpoints +1 per level for warp and roll a number of dice equal to your battle level. If any of them are a 6 it works.
I meant roll 1d6 each battle level for new power points.
I'd like to make his own spells but at the moment that's a lot more work than I have time to do. As for seeing in the future maybe make it that he can do it one time per battle level per adventure. By Adventure i mean one entire dungeon.

Also each enchantment on the staff can only be used once per dungeon. (or if you think balance would be better once per battle level per dungeon.)

Re: Help finding/Making homemade rules?
I am thinking that some of the enchantments might need some adjustment, but that limiting them to one use per adventure/dungeon might not be necessary. With the differing types of abilities and at the different costs, I think it would be best to limit them only within their individual descriptions.
For instance, I think the Power Saver enchantment is just fine as it reads, because it has its own limitation built in, even though it may work many times during an adventure (to store 1 power point each time). Considering what the enchantment enables the seer to do, and at a cost of 2000 gold, I think this enchantment is very much like what one would expect of a mediocre to good Objective Room treasure.
Another for instance: the Seer enchantment is already limited by the way it reads to once per adventure.
I will be glad to host this character. If you desire, I would be glad to work on some Skavenish spells and some recommended deletions of the human spells. I am currently working on some other custom warrior creations and some special monsters (mostly just ideas right now) and would be gald to add to my To Do List. lol
Concerning the Seer ability (looking into the future) as working once per BL per Adventure, I think that would be very much in balance considering how many events a party may face in a single dungeon. I think I have had 50 or more events in a single dungeon in some of my tougher adventures (in my solo games).
What about allowing the Seer ability to work in settlements in reference to Settlement Events and perhaps versus a Catastrophic Event? Just wondering....

It is best for me if I wait for Bruno, the code-master. Then I can more easily post this warrior on my sight as well.
However, I would like to see many of the loose ends on this warrior's rules properly tied up...

I wonder if anyone knows whether more has been done to this Warrior. I must go and see the Museum's copy...
Also, I am working on some 'good guy' tables to fight against the evil Warriors in Middle Earth, but I think many of the enemies could be used interchangeably with Warhammer Quest. They ALL use WHQ rules and stats, though I have added some custom rules. When I get these all done, I hope to provide completed 'Monster Tables' for both types of LOTR Player Character parties to use.
Types of enemies for evil parties include:
Elves, Dwarves, Halflings, Human soldiers, Cavalry, Spearmen, Archers, Catapult (for larger battles), Ballistae -- most based upon LOTR model images found in GW's collections.
There are quite a few heroes, NPC, evil bosses, and etc... in the various tables I am working on for both sides. When it is all done, I think there might be as many or nearly as many 'monsters' as the RolePlay Book has.
It is a HUGE project, so be patient. You can ask me about it from time to time to help me think of it as a priority project.
