Corridor Variations

So i was adding some boards to my deck and realised i had too many rooms to corridor ratio so added a couple more corridors. Wanted some variety so quickly came up with these two variants.

Pillared Corridor
Heres a printable version Image but you can also just use a standard board. This will be one square longer than a normal corridor so use a bit of cardboard or paper for the extra square. Then take 3 coins of an appropriate size to use as the pillars.
 XXXOXXX
 XOXXXOX
The rounded pillars block line of sight horizontally but not diagonally, you can also fight and move diagonally.

Extra Door Corridor
For this simply place a door at the end of the corridor as normal then add an extra door in the centre of the corridor. Don't split the deck like you would with a junction, simply take the top dungeoncard and place it at the extra door.

Notes:
Similar to the Collapsed Passage the Pillared Corridor should provide some tactical challenge if you run into any monsters near it. The Extra-Door Corridor will shorten the distance to the objective room slightly, it could potentially cause problems with laying down the boards depending on the size of the various rooms havn't had a chance to test it yet.

If you want to use these or other boards and don't like printing dungeon cards (personally all my printed cards are pretty shoddy and a bugger to shuffle emoticon ) then simply grab a deck of playing cards and a piece of paper. Assign a playingcard to each room your using and then use that deck instead of the dungeoncard deck emoticon. I stole that idea from the latest BloodBowl rulebook emoticon .

Re: Corridor Variations

Might aswell add this here. Was looking for an extra corridor for a lustria adventure, using all the ones from www.wqchronicles.com but wanted an extra one.
So i used the log tile from this place http://www.lemonbutter.com/dd/ , theres some other nice boards there aswell.

The log tile would be better as a room but i needed a corridor so chopped off a line of squares to make it 4x8. Since i'm using it as a corridor i might not have to do any fighting on the log but if i do i'm going to use a variation of the FightingNearPits rules from LairoftheOrcWarlord.

Anyway just thought i'd share cause its a nice looking board emoticon.
