Chapter 2 : What is in the Box Dr. Aran Jaeger studied the organism. The breeding chamber was a long cylinder with a glass compartment roughly in chest height. The creature floated in a muddy liquid. Dozens of small red and blue tubes connected the creature to the support system, found in the lower part of the cylinder. Jaeger checked the stamina levels. Everything was in the green zone. The body already resembled a bird and its size approached that of a sheepdog. Its leg muscles were slowly building mass and were already pretty strong. Long bent claws protruded from the legs. The head resembled a saurian one and its mouth was filled with dozens of small sharp teeth. A metallic device was attached to the creature's neck. It worked like a spider, clenching the neck with its claws and drilling into it. The connection was successful. With every movement of the body the nanomodule moved as well. Dr. Aran Jaeger noted something into his notebook and smiled. A perfect specimen. He then walked over to the next breeding chamber. This specimen was also perfectly developed. Jaeger moved through the long row of chambers. There were more than 10. When he started to walk up the steel staircase leading to the Delta lab, he shot a glance back at the Breeding station 2B. It seemed a non-ending hall and there were at least a hundred breeding chambers scattered over the floor, bathing in dim artificial light.
The game contains:
- 18 Sector tiles
The Sector tiles represent the game board in Operation C. They build the twisty corridors and rooms of the Chimera-2 station.
- 5 Objective sectors
In every mission the heroes must find the Objective sector and in it they need to fulfill the mission goal.
- 19 Sector cards
These cards are used to build the Sector layout of the station for each mission.
- 4 Hero boards and 4 Hero figurines
Each player chooses one of the 4 Heroes and receives the corresponding Hero board with the figurine.
- 20 Shadow event cards
There are two distinct types of Shadow events in the game: Bioweapons and Events.
- 44 Equipment cards
These cards represent the equipment which lets the heroes use additional abilities, weapons and ammunition during the game.
- 7 Computer console cards
In certain Sectors terminals can be located, which the heroes can use during the game. In these situations a Computer console card is drawn, as detailed later in the rules.
- 1 Doom table
This table is used during a die roll to check for any negative effects happening. Negative effects are triggered in conjunction with the Intuition dice.
- 18 Bioweapon cards
These are the enemies in Operation C and are designated as Bioweapons. Nearly all Bioweapons have a stronger and more dangerous version, the Alpha-species. Unless it is specifically mentioned otherwise, the heroes always encounter the regular version of a Bioweapon creature.
- 4 Life tokens and 4 Adrenalin tokens
These tokens are used to track Life and Adrenaline points for the heroes.
- 4 Starting object tokens for the heroes
Each hero starts with an initial object, that can be used once per mission. After use this object is discarded.
- 1 Laser barrier token
This token is needed for the effects of the card "Laser barrier".
- 1 Computer terminal token, 1 Medical cabinet tokens, 1 Card terminal token, 1 Security terminal token, 1 Ammunition cabinet token and 2 Emergency depot token
These tokens are used in conjunction with the cards "Defense system", "Card terminal", "Emergency depot", „Ammunition cabinet" and "Medical cabinet".
- 4 Doom tokens and 4 Poison tokens
These tokens are used when a hero is poisoned and a negative effect was triggered.
- 42 Ammunition tokens
These tokens are used to track the ammunition that a hero has for his weapons.
- 1 Force field token and 1 Flame token
These tokens are used with the "Spartan Laser Hell" and "RIS M203 Firewall" weapons.
- 10 white Intuition dice
In Operation C the Intution dice are used in many situations, mostly in combat. Intuition dice are rolled to see if a hero triggers status effects or negative effects.
- 12 small red dice and 12 small black dice
These dice are used to track Life points of a Bioweapon. The red ones are used for regular creatures, while the black ones for the Alpha-species.
- one 4-sided die
This die is used to determine the hero, that is going to be the subject of an event, to determine where Bioweapons appear or which hero they attack.
- 6 Combat dice
These dice are used in every combat. The color of the die determines its strength.
- 1 Star die
The Star die is used in special events and with weapon or Bioweapon abilities.
- 3 Sector doors
Individual Sectors are connected by doors.
- 1 Mission book
In the Mission book you will find additional rules for the Operation C game. Also, the mission details and Hero advancement is detailed here.

Re: Own Boardgame: Operation C - Furious battle in prehistoric times I love the board game shots, looks really good.
I especially lovethe potential crossover of dinosaurs and zombies (there was the survival horror game Resident Evil, but there was also Dino Crisis which was essentially the same but in a Jurassic park-esque setting)
so have you had any luck with translation into English?
price/sales etc. information available yet?
--- most of my posts may run into essay length. I find that for a lot of queries/feedback context is important and that is why this happens more often than not.
