Warhammer Quest Pawns or Standees

I've been making pawns or standees (2-d cutouts of miniatures) and using Pathfinder RPG Pawn bases to use them. I was wondering if people would use these or if I could even post the sheets that I print off. I don't want to draw attention to the board by GW. All the images I use for the standees are easily found on the internet (actually most are from GW's site, lol)

I am not sure, but I would recommend you NOT do it until you are sure it is safe. IF it would be considered a copyright issue, I am pretty sure even Runboard's rules would prohibit posting here (on Runboard's site).

On the other hand, I would encourage sharing them IF the images are clearly NOT copyrighted.

Whether anyone would use them, the best way to find out would be to post them and see what kind of feedback you get. emoticon

Ok so Ive been debating how I would share what I was doing. I figure people who are into this game are crafty enough to do what I'm doing if I just explain it.

So instead of purchasing thousands of dollars of miniatures (I'm still purchasing hundreds of dollars of miniatures anyway lol) I'm finding images of miniatures, cropping them in photoshop, mirroring them, and then printing, folding, cutting and gluing to make standees using Pathfinder Pawn Bases. They turn out pretty awesome and you can get exactly what you want for cheap and you dont have to paint. I'm still collecting minis and painting, but these kinda just hold the place until I buy certain pieces.

Who can afford to buy all those minis?

I think this that you are doing is an excellent way to handle all those different monsters. I well remember using Snotlings for Nurglings, and Minotaurs for Ogres and for Trolls.

I did buy some of the models from GW back when I played WHQ on table top, a good while before it went out of print. I remember that I had purchased three trolls and a Giant, among other things. I think I did eventually get a dragon too.

I never got into the painting aspect of it though.

When I got married, I let the former apartment roommate keep the physical game. Recently, I learned that all his gaming things were destroyed in a fire.
