settlement events

bit dead around here right now isn't it...?

anyway, i'm considering drawing up a settlement table for each size of settlement (village, town and city) simply because I feel bigger things should happen in a city and smaller things (more yokel/superstition based) should happen in a village.

anyone got any decent sources for that?

as an aside I am also considering making one single dungeon room treasure table (one to bind them all....) but am currently struggling due to have all the treasure deck expansions plus the original D66 treasure tables in how exactly to bring it all together.

(current thinking: D6 roll as usual 1 being gold, 2 being disposable stuff like potions/scrolls 3 being weapons, 4 being armour, 5 and 6 being the more esoteric [sign in to see URL] main concern is this makes the odd stuff more prevalent which I don't want as heroes need their magic weapons etc.)

please give me your thoughts, pelt me with rotten fruit and whatnot!
