2018 and Gaming

What are you all's plans for 2018 and gaming?

Personally, I did a lot more Blood Bowl than WhQ in 2017.
Bought all of the new '16 BB rules (folks are still arguing a year and a half since release what edition it is) but not the box set (got the main rules from a guy that got more than one box of the game) or any of the 32mm players; still using the many Blood Bowl figures I bought during 3rd Ed. and 3rd Rev. Ed.
Moreover, I have bought the last human metal team and the the Lizards; still trying to get an Amazon team at a decent price though.

So, again, what gaming are you all doing?

Re: 2018 and Gaming

all of it!
I have a fortnightly WHQ game which is going well (level 6 now)

the other week of the fortnightly I am mostly playing ghostbusters which a friend sponsored through kickstarter: it is pretty good.

I played Gloomhaven this weekend just gone, which is players versus game very similar to WHQ but otherwise more tactical hack n slash game. very challenging. frankly I could write 1000 pages about it.

I am also playing occasional games of Sentinels of the multiverse, dead of winter, legendary encounters: Firefly. Endure the stars (like a mash up of zombicide and space hulk), saboteur, secret hitler (hilarious hidden identity game, but only a few games at a time as it makes you paranoid and distrusting), Sheriff of Nottingham which is a trading, bluffing and counter bluffing game.

I play Zombicide: black plague regularly. we have a spare bedroom which we have a wallpaper paste table in so we can continue playing whenever we want and just leave it set up (just have to lock the cat out!).

I tend to recycle the game we are playing in that room so it does change but we are working back through the whole game having made some adjustments as we are finding it a bit easier now and predictable.

most of my posts may run into essay length. I find that for a lot of queries/feedback context is important and that is why this happens more often than not.

have a great day :D
