Fear - page 35 role play book
Hi Guys,
Just a simple one I hope. Can I just confirm that fear is rolled for each type of monster that causes fear in a combat rather than the individual monster a model is fighting. It all made sense until the last paragraph of the fear section on the above page:
If there are two or more types of monster in the room that cause fear, make a fear roll for each warrior against the particular monster he is fighting.
Before that sentence I was thinking everyone roles for each type of monster that causes fear but now I am thinking, if there are 2 or more types of monster that cause fear, then you only roll for fear against the monster you are fighting.
Many thanks and appreciate your help,
Bob.

Re: Fear - page 35 role play book
I think you're just reading too much into the last line. You must take the entire Fear section into consideration and not just isolate that one line when determining what the rules are tying to say.
The Warriors roll for Fear against every Monster Type that appears on the Board that causes Fear. End of story.
"against the particular monster he is fighting" means in general. If there are Monsters on the Board, a Warrior is fighting all of them. They just want you to make sure that you roll for Fear against every Monster who causes Fear.
They probably could have worded it better, but i do not believe that the author wants you to ONLY roll for Fear for a Monster that your Warrior is attacking this turn.
