Treasure Cards + Turns
Hey all.
Hope your all safe and well.
I had a question over the treasure cards and certain turn mechanics.
Ok so on certain treasure cards it says 'Once per Turn or Perminant' Do these treasure cards stick with me forever, or do i write them down on my equipment sheet then return them to the pile? Slightly confused as i dont want my treasure deck to become less rewarding due too less cards but at same time i don't want the game to be too easy due to multiple of the same item. Which is the correct way?.
Also, can i use an item then attack and move or does the item count as my 'attack phase' even if its a healing potion lets just say.
Any help would be great.

Yes, it is yours forever if you keep it. You do not have to sell it unless you want to, after which it isn't yours anymore. Of course, there are ways to lose treasure...
You would normally keep the Treasure Card as part of your inventory. But it is not mandatory as you could definitely write it down and discard the card, to be later found again. Much the same way as you could roll the same item on a Treasure Table when you use the Advanced Rules.

Re: Treasure Cards + Turns
Personally I use a custom treasure table and note treasure on my Warrior Sheet, for the very reason you mention about diluting the treasure stock. Not doing so for me would encourage stockpiling bad treasure to avoid drawing it again, which would seem a little silly.
Do you have specif items in mind? In general all actions (including using items) are almost completely unrestricted in WHQ. you can use a rope to save a friend, apply 10 bandages and eat 20 provisions and still attack all in one turn if you want!

Re: Treasure Cards + Turns
i always write them down and return the card.
my party are level 10 now so there'd be no treasure cards left if we hadn't done this!
--- most of my posts may run into essay length. I find that for a lot of queries/feedback context is important and that is why this happens more often than not.
have a great day :D
