I think for a while that we've been making berserk so it does 1 wound to every model in an adjacent square, so you could leave it as it is (hitting warriors etc)

Normaly yes but as there will be no monsters in the next fight there should be some downside for the barbarian. Wounding people he wants to be wounding isnt much of a penalty for failing your roll.

Re: Thyrael's Fighting Arena!

Well heres what I've posted in my new pit game as always everything is ultimatly at my discresion and will be changed to what ever amuses me at any particular time *cackles madly*

# If you hit another warrior before rolling to wound you can declare you are pushing the warrior backwards into any of the 3 squares behind him. Then you roll to wound and if you sucsesfully wound the warrior is pushed backwards 1 square instead.

# If you didnt move your entire distance in your turn you can trade 2 squares of movement to follow up into a pushed warrior pinning him to the spikes and causing an extra wound until he can push you back off of him.

# Pushing a warrior into the spikes causes D6 damage.

# Pushing a warrior into the pit will trap him there unti he can pass an inititive test to escape. He may not be attacked while in the pit.

This game probably wont start for a couple of days as there will more than liekly heaps of questions Im desperatly going to have to invent answers for in this one.

Hi,

the first question, and it's a bit of a newbie, but there you go - I am!!

Question : the Orders page - is there a given format to this, or does it simply have to be understandable by the GM??

No, not unless the GM says so. Generally you should make yourself familiar with all the various buttons and menus and just make sure that all the info is in whichever orders you submit- names of monsters, correct dice rolls, etc.
I'll start a nice new forum to deal with such inquiries, in fact.

Oh, and Lunch, may I just say how much I am enjoying your bloodsports? I don't think Teblin is having much fun, but I'm sure his pain will be over soon! emoticon

hmmm i didnt get any email notification for a reply at this thread emoticon

thanks for the asnwers - heh heh if you really wanta compromise, how about the Barbarian deals i damage to all adjacent Warriors, and 1 to himself too emoticon (or 2 if he's near spikes) emoticon

hi shakespere, i guess if you post clear instructions in the orders it should be fine. eg Playername attacks playername, to hit 1d6... etc (but just remember to please roll just 1 dice per form submission) - otherwise you get bugs etc :>)

Actually for the barbarian it will be one wound to each adjacent warrior but he will take as many wounds as he causes damage. Therefore the more damage he causes the worse off it is for him.

Re: Thyrael's Fighting Arena!

Hey everyone Ive a slight delema here.

In my second pit fight a Dwarfish Trollslayer has just performed a particularly spectacular move, unpinning himself from a psycotic elf to chase down and slay a Brave and Just halfling in one blow.

The Delema comes from this little piece from the trollslayer rules
quote:

In addition, if possible, he always engages the largest Monster in the combat in hand-tohand combat.

Now the 5 wound toughness 2 halfling is hardly large, except around the waist but a pit fight is rather exceptional circumstances. What do people think? I dont want either player to feel hard done by (unless I do it on purpose by droping an ogre on them) so I thought Id see what people think.
