Re: Any Warrior's Wounds

I do wonder RK what I said wrong that you would think this player is a friend?
The player is NOT.
Moreover, due to this person's, let us say, difficult nature, this individual may not be playing with us again.
This gamer claimed experience with WhQ; meanwhile their "play" indicated, clearly, otherwise.
Additionally, this being's mule-headed performance, in direct opposition to a number of WhQ veterans present, did not endear this soul to any of us.
This player was referred to our group, due to his alleged interest in WhQ, by a gamer that does not play the game.
I've had similar results to this with other games (never WHQ, everyone I know who plays is because I have introduced them to it!)
frustrating, but at least only one gaming session was used with them by the sounds of it.
realised that a barbarian with incredibly lucky rolls could have ended up with 150 Wounds...and that is before Steam Baths and other things (my current character has had a steam bath 3 times so far! we're only level 3!!)
--- most of my posts may run into essay length. I find that for a lot of queries/feedback context is important and that is why this happens more often than not.
have a great day :D

Sorry RK, I did not mean to get your dander up.
He just is not a friend and did not act friendly when he played with us.
We "bumped heads" nearly from the start and did so almost regularly until the end.
So yes, I was/am concerned about how I had expressed myself so that you thought he was a friend.
I did not men to upset you RK.
I apologize.

Re: Any Warrior's Wounds
This is horribly explained in the rules i agree, but here is what we do:
Arbitrary example:
Level 1 - D6 + 9 wounds
Level 2 - 2D6 + 9 wounds
Level 3 - 3D6 + 10 wounds
Level 4 - 3D6 + 10 wounds
Ill skip level 1 as this is quite clear i believe.
When going from level 1 --> level 2:
Add D6 to your starting wounds (not 2D6+9)
When going from level 2 --> level 3:
Add D6+1 to your starting wounds (not 3D6+10)
When going from level 3 --> level 4:
Add 0 wounds to your starting wounds (not 3D6+10)
Doing it the way your friend does would OP all of the less resilient characters IMO.
If you are used to doing it the other way around, you may consider how its even possible to stay alive with such little wounds. The answer is: Your character WILL die
