Wizard and spells availability
Hello all guys,
New of this game, i was watching the roleplay book.....i have a doubt about the wizard and spells number.
During a match....are all spells (already purchased) available for an experienced wizard? (battle level 6 for example)...or, at game start, have I to choose a limited number of them, between already purchase spells? Thanks

Re: Wizard and spells availability
The rules say that at first level you draw spells out of the spell deck that comes with the game. The only time you gain one of the spells that aren't in the deck is when the wizard tried to unlearn and learn new spells. He has to roll a 6 when trying to gain a new spell and then he can choose the new spell.
Unless you are using Luck to try and get that 6, it makes it pretty hard to gain those types of spells.
But, it's your game. You could change the rules a bit if you want to see those other spells in the game more.

Re: Wizard and spells availability
not sure what your question is i'm afraid.
when you start you have 3 spells, one of attack, defence and healing.
these are normally drawn from the cards in the game so you would be limited to them.
personally I let the wizard roll 3D6 and allocate each as they see fit to attack, defence or healing which opens out some of the other spells in the book*.
otherwise more spells become available by advancing your level.
*I find 2, 3 and 5 to be the best or 2,5 and 6 (healing hands for 2 freeze for 5. 3 is confuse and 6 is invulnerability. confuse is cheap enough to make it useful, invulnerable is useful because it makes the next attack that hits the target do no damage so if you do roll 6's while wandering you can gradually build it up so the whole party is effected.
--- most of my posts may run into essay length. I find that for a lot of queries/feedback context is important and that is why this happens more often than not.
have a great day :D

All spells learned (they're not purchased) while levelling up are available to the wizard at the beginning of each and every Quest.
EXCEPTION: unless there is a special rule for the adventure you are playing that says otherwise.
What language in the RP Book made this unclear to you?
