Chaos Legion
Apart from luck, is there any other way not to be carted off to the Chaos Legion??

I'm assuming you're referring to the Chaos Warrior player character?
If you've got too many Chaos attributes while at low-levels it seems like there's no way to avoid it without a least a little luck. Still, we play with at least a little RPG style, so anything that's just totally out-to-lunch (like the settlement catastrophe event that has one of the Heroes settle down and stop adventuring) we just work around or develop something by the seat of our pants to resolve.
Chaos Warriors of course are still servitors to their dark masters and when the master calls they must obey. Might be cool to develop an RPG quest for the Heroes around the Chaos Warrior's call to the Chaos Wastes... maybe he's been called by the same Chaos minion who slew his family many years ago, and his path to damnation was actually a plan from the beginning to cross paths with this evil brute.
Of course if you're not talking about the Chaos Warrior then just don't read everything above
