Operation C - The Adventure Boardgame Hello everybody. I want to introduce my own boardgame OPERATION C. Well, now you thinking: What the **** has it to do with Warhammerquest?
Warhammerquest was never released in germany. As a teenager, this game was my ultimate dream boardgame, but i never had the chance to play or own it. Today i create own boardgames and OPERATION C is my personal Warhammerquest.
The game uses some mechanisms from Warhammerquest, but has many new and unique rules to be more than a simply clon. I hope you like my thread! Warhammerquest is still a great game and OPERATION C is a deep bow for this game.

Description: 4 heroes, a secret research station, forbidden experiments and a day where everything goes wrong. Take control over an arsenal of 25 weapons. Play 30 exciting missions. Did I say that in the research station dinosaurs were bred as bioweapons? This will be a hell of a day. Welcome to the CHIMAERE.
Operation C is an adventure board game for 4 players. The players represent 4 different heroes, which have to complete various missions in the CHIMAERE research station. Equipped with a multitude of abilities, equipment and weapons, the heroes have to face powerful bioweapons, created in the facility using dinosaur DNA. The goal of each mission is to find the Objective sector of the mission. Each Round the players explore the facility, consisting of multiple sectors (dinosaur cages, laboratories, open space...). The sectors have the form of floor tiles, which are arranged side by side in a specific and different layout for each mission. When the players discover the Objective sector, they need to perform a specific task in it.
Operation C may differ from many other games you might know. Contrary to the usual player-versus-player interaction this game requires the players to cooperate in order to survive the dangers of CHIMAERA. Besides that there is no suggested way to play. Instead the sector tiles are always combined together to build a new facility layout each game. The rules might seem a little complex at first glance, but fear not! Many of the rules were developed in a way as to be introduced gradually and you do not need all of them right at the start.
But Operation C is more than just a simple board game. You will eventually complete all available missions and will want to play new missions with new heroes, as well as using new weapons and sector tiles. You can rest assured that soon a new host of expansions will follow. There will be special expansions containing new heroes, weapon packs, new sector tiles and new bioweapons. On top of that new missions will be developed to utilize all of these. Additionally, in the future you will be able to explore the CHIMAERA with up to 6 heroes. Operation C is a hobby. The more you expand the game, the bigger the opportunities get.

I have one question: Is there an English version of it?
EDIT: I finally saw somewhere that this game has not yet been published. So sorry to hear that.
The following comment I base in part on what I read from this game's creator in another place I found by Googling: I think it might have a better chance to get published in English if you can get it translated first. If so, then maybe it would become easier to get it published in Germany -- after proving a successful game elsewhere.

Sadly, I do not know German. I WAS born in Germany though. I was transplanted to the USA at about 4 or 5 weeks after I was born!

Plus you can get the translation very quick and up to date.
I don´t want to make the translation of the rules at the moment public!!
The rulebook has 34 pages (DINA4). 40% are atmospheric descriptions and small introductions of each chapter.
The chapters are:
1. Introduction
2. What is in the box?
3. The Warriors
4. Set up the game
5. The sequence of play
6. Bioweapon Phase
7. Research Phase
8. Finish a mission
9. Combat
10. The doom chart
