What is your opinion? I do not have much to compare it to. I used to play Magic the Gathering, and have played some of the Star Wars The Card Game by FFG (one of their Living Card Games, with the modular sets of cards). Those games were meant for players to hold the cards in their hands, whereas this one is designed to primarily keep the cards on the table. These cards are generally thicker. I would not necessarily say that they are poor quality. I guess I would need to play the game a while to come have a more firm opinion. I think the cards are beautiful; but, I also used to work in a paint store and mix all sorts of paint colors... I think almost every color is beautiful too! lolnondisclosed_email@example.com (OldWarrior)Wed, 14 Sep 2016 15:06:58 +0000 Re: The King is Dead; Long live the ?!?https://bwarhammerquest.runboard.com/p563005,from=rss#post563005https://bwarhammerquest.runboard.com/p563005,from=rss#post563005quote:OldWarrior wrote: I finally got the game and recently the two character expansions for it. I like what I see in the two expansions, but have not really had much chance yet to play! I am hoping to use the game to give me a little inspiration for some custom WHQ Adventures. I really wish GW would get back into making and remaking their own games, since this news has come, BUT, as you like to say, Warrior Monk, their emphasis seems to be on making and selling "toy soldiers". nondisclosed_email@example.com (OldWarrior)Mon, 12 Sep 2016 05:10:02 +0000 The King is Dead; Long live the ?!?https://bwarhammerquest.runboard.com/p563003,from=rss#post563003https://bwarhammerquest.runboard.com/p563003,from=rss#post563003FFG has officially notified the gaming world that after 28 Feb, 2017, they will not be dealing with GW IPs. Fantasy Flight Games Called it, did I not? A sad call in fact, but I did call it. Sort of like back in early 2014 when I called the demise of WFB on Warseer. You had to hear all of the cries on Warseer about how crazy I was to say such a thing. The "Look at all the new models man. You're nuts if you think they are going to come out with all these new figures and then kill the game." Or the more priceless jab I received, "You're nuts. Get off of Warseer and go where the crazies post!" What did history show us though? GW was more than willing to come out with new toy soldiers and then kill the game. Granted, they found ways to use all of the new toy soldiers in Age of Sigmar, but Age of Sigmar is certainly not WFB though! So, did any one here buy the two character expansions? The Witch Hunter and the Trollslayer. I never got around to it. Thenagain, I never got around to playing this card game enough to use up what was in the box. Sad news, but certainly not unexpected.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Warrior Monk)Sun, 11 Sep 2016 17:19:33 +0000
