New...new Warhammer Quest!
https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/01/24/your-quest-continues/
It seems GW are bringing out another Warhammer Quest with a more narrative bent. I'll probably get it, though I still haven't played Silver Tower. If nothing else these sets are usually filled with models which can be used for traditional WHQ.
What's everyones' thoughts?

Re: New...new Warhammer Quest!
I am expecting Shadows Over Hammerhal to be no better than Silver Tower (I do not place WhQ with that game name in respect for the actual game).
This dice mechanic GW has chained Silver Tower to is ... (cannot just choose one of many negative describers).
And then the lack of progression in the game makes Silver Tower thoroughly NOT WhQ.
The feeling I see on the WEB for Shadows Over Hammerhal is one of hopefulness - at least for the youngsters that do not really know WhQ, only Silver Tower.
We, Questors, shall have to wait and see.
Most Questors I have communicated with simply see Silver Tower as a inexpensive source of toy soldiers, not as actually WhQ.
Their expectations for Shadows Over Hammerhal are along a similar vein.
I have only played Silver Tower at the FLGS, not liked it and therefore, have NOT bought it yet.
Main reason: I am waiting to hear how/if all of the approx-human-size toy soldiers in Silver Tower can be mounted on 25mm bases.
I absolutely refuse to fall into the AoS trap of 32mm.
Personally, I am expecting Shadows Over Hammerhal to simply be another dead end just as Silver Tower was as far as WhQ.

Re: New...new Warhammer Quest!
You made a very good point there, the move of more and more models to a 32mm base is very frustrating. I am going to try to mount the Tzaangor and acolytes on 25mm rounds (most of my other models are 25mm rounds), but at the moment they are relatively far down my very long painting list.
